Ann is a Certified Safety Professional with an extensive background in implementing and managing safety programs in transportation and operations environments. She is the Risk Control manager for Safeway, Inc. Before joining Safeway, Ann spent over 26 years as a Safety Manager with UPS. She made the leap to the public sector and joined the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority as the Corporate Safety & Analysis Manager. She currently serves on the National Safety Council Defensive Driving International Advisory Committee, is a member of the Women's Caucus and the Transportation Division and is also member of the American Society of Safety Engineers.
