Beth Brooks, CAE is a respected association professional and advisor on governance, board orientation and strategic planning. She is a sought-after speaker and trainer; and author of the The New CEO’s Guide published by the American Society of Association Executives (2015). As the long-term chief executive for three state associations, she worked in collaboration with multiple Boards of Directors to create strategic initiatives and move the associations forward. She is currently the Executive Vice President for the National Association of Women in Construction. She established the first statewide office for the Texas Pest Control Association and was responsible for the successful turnaround of the Texas Society of Association Executives, where she was CEO for 15 years. She is a frequent speaker on governance and a CEO advisor to state and national associations.
