Jacob Klimstra studied electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering. He worked for 29 years at the Research Laboratory of N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie, where from 1993 to early 2000, Jacob was Head of the Research Department of Industrial Gas Applications. From the year 2000 till the end of 2009, Jacob was employed by Wärtsilä as senior specialist for engine-driven power and cogeneration systems. Currently, Jacob is serving the energy industry as a consultant.
