Born & raised in the New Orleans area. Graduated from Delgado Community College with an associate degree in Occupational Safety & Health. Earned bachelor's degree from University of Alabama in OS&H. Worked as safety coordinator & fire marshal at Ochsner Hospital; fire inspector & arson investigator for the Jefferson Parish Fire Department. Been with the South LA Chapter of NSC since 1993 as President & CEO. Instructor-trainer for NSC first aid and defensive driving programs. Instructor for NSC workplace safety courses. Nationally registered emergency medical technician. LA state certified EMS instructor. Past president of ASSE-New Orleans Chapter and the Delta Safety Society. Member of Dawn Busters Kiwanis Club. Passions include injury prevention, health & anti-aging!
