Lisa Holbrook has been a resident of the Clear Lake community in Southeast Houston since 1986. She is a past PTA President of Armand Bayou Elementary, Space Center Intermediate, Clear Lake High School and the Clear Creek Community Council. At the state level she has served as Region 2 Vice President, Treasurer, Second Vice President, President-Elect and is now the current Texas PTA President for 2016-2018. She received her Texas PTA Honorary Life Membership in 1998, an Extended Service Award in 2004, a National Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008 and is a certified Trainer for Foundations: Leader Orientation and a Master Presenter for Texas PTA’s Ready, Set, Achieve parent programs. In addition to PTA she is involved with the Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce as the Governmental Affairs Division Director, Assistance League of the Bay Area, is a member of the National Assistance League Finance Committee and served as the Lunar Rendezvous Festival General Co-Chairman for the event’s 51st year. She also is an active member of University Baptist Church and is the sole proprietor of With This Ring, a wedding planning service. She has two children, Caitlin, a May 2011 graduate of UT-Austin, McCombs School of Business and Travis, a December 2016 graduate of Sam Houston State University.
