Peter Carey




Carey is a conservation biologist and educator with more than 30 years’ experience working in Antarctica and the subantarctic islands. He founded the SubAntarctic Foundation for Ecosystems Research to do practical ecological restoration work in the Falkland Islands. In addition to his conservation work, Carey serves as Director of Explorations for Holland America Line, where he is helping to develop “EXC In Depth,” a new educational and excursion program on board the MS Maasdam.
