Feisal Amin Rasoul al-Istrabadi

Al-Istrabadi is Founding Director of Indiana University’s Center for the Study of the Middle East and teaches in the Schools of Law and Global and International Studies. His research focuses on regional problems of engendering the rule of law and on security issues. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Ambassador al-Istrabadi represented Iraq at the U.N. starting in 2004 and was principal legal drafter of Iraq’s interim constitution. He appears frequently in international media.
