Mike has been involved with the evaluation of potential bird and bat impacts at wind projects since 2002, back when the proposed maximum turbine height was 110 meters (360 feet). For Ecology and Environment, Inc. he consults with wind developers and agencies regarding BGEPA, MBTA, and ESA issues; designs and directs wildlife surveys; prepares Eagle Conservation Plans and BBCSs, and manages NEPA Environmental Assessments for eagle and bat take permits.
