Boris Zhmud

BIZOL


Boris Zhmud holds a PhD in Surface Chemistry and is Associate Professor in Physical Chemistry at Lund University in Sweden. Over his 20-years professional career, Boris occupied a number of senior consulting, research and management positions at various institutions and companies including AB Nynas Petroleum (Sweden), E-ION s.a. (Belgium), ANS (Sweden) and BIZOL (Germany). His specific competence areas include automotive lubricants, engine tribology, and surface chemistry of lubricant additives, base oils and coatings. Boris has authored or coauthored over 60 peer-reviewed publications and a few patents. He is an acting member of the British Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), and the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE).
