Brady began her career with the Orlando Sentinel where she covered both the police and court beats and where she reported on both law enforcement and justice system issues of public interest. After spending time writing for POLICE Magazine, she transitioned to public relations beginning in the defense industry and ultimately became Vice President of Public Affairs at Bright House Networks in Central Florida. There she was responsible for strategic communications and handled the expected and unexpected controversies and crises that occur in the cable industry’s 24-hour cycle. Before Bright House, Brady was Managing Director of Wragg & Casas Public Relations, Inc., the state’s leading crisis management firm at the time. Throughout the course of her public relations career, she has been retained to provide strategic counsel and execute communication and crisis response campaigns to support high-profile controversies, litigation, municipalities, law enforcement agencies and corporate matters. Brady was named PR Professional of the Year in 2012 by the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA), was named one of Orlando Magazine’s 50 Most Powerful People in Orlando for four consecutive years, recognition based on her reputation as a confidante and strategic advisor to some of the community’s most influential leaders. In 2014 she was recognized as Woman Business Owner of the Year under the Orlando Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Awards program. She frequently serves as a public speaker on crisis management and most recently she was quoted in the New York Times regarding the Bill Cosby scandal. Celebrating her fifth year in business, Brady has expanded her firm to have a national clientele and she is recognized as an effective and strategic crisis manager and public relations practitioner.
