Ann Harvey Tanner joined the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago in April 2014. As a Manager of Training and Professional Development, she develops and delivers training for Facilitators and the Leadership team in Guest Experiences. Training series include operations and content training, guest engagement, special exhibits, and leadership training. Providing ongoing opportunities to grow and develop the Guest Experiences team is an integral part of the strategies used to motivate staff and create a positive culture. Ann comes to the museum with a background in science and management; she completed a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University and a PhD in Neuroscience at Baylor College of Medicine.
