Jocelyn Brown-Saracino is the Acting Program Manager for the US Department of Energy’s Wind Energy Market Acceleration and Deployment portfolio. In this role she manages a suite of work aimed at increasing wind deployment nationwide, including efforts surrounding grid integration, workforce development, stakeholder engagement, and radar interference mitigation. She also directly manages the Department’s Wind Energy environmental research portfolio. In this role she crafts the strategic direction of the environmental research portfolio and supervises projects aimed at measuring, mitigating, and sharing information on the environmental impacts of land-based and offshore wind. Prior to her current rule, Jocelyn managed the US Department of Energy’s hydropower and marine energy environmental research portfolios. She holds a Master’s Degree in Marine Science from the University of New England and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from Smith College.
