Rich Rosenstiel has been employed at Exelon for 31 years. His career started as a chemist in the ComEd Nuclear Division in 1988. Rich joined the Information Technology department in 1998 and has been involved in several large technology projects including the Financial Transformation Initiative (FTIP), NERC CIP Standard Implementation and IT Cost Optimization. Rich has also held operational roles including the day-to-day operations of IT systems supporting ComEd electric operations which includes EMS, SCADA, outage management, geospatial, and workforce mobilization systems. Rich is currently the IT Director responsible for the implementation of the Data Analytics Platform (DAP) including infrastructure, data ingestion, storage systems, maintenance operations, performance, quality monitoring and post-production service support. The build out of the DAP includes ingesting over 110 sources system and delivery of 117 business analytic use cases. Rich holds a BS in Chemistry – University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign; a JD from Chicago Kent College of Law and is a certified PMP.
