David Orgel is a well-known food industry expert, business journalist and speaker who was the longtime chief editor and content leader of Supermarket News. He is currently principal of David Orgel Consulting LLC, delivering strategic content, marketing and counsel with a specialty in the food, retail and consumer packaged goods industries. His consulting clients include food industry associations, food manufacturers, technology companies, and B-to-B media outlets. His activities include producing a show daily newsletter for NGA Show and developing a wide range of thought leadership, research reports and white papers for other organizations. He is a board member of the food industry’s anti-hunger organization Making Change, formerly called Food for All, and was a recent chair of the Editorial and Content Committee of Connectiv.
