Adam Young has been working in the explosive industry for the last 17 years, having started out working for Hill Top Energy in north east Ohio. He worked as a laborer / bulk truck driver, and then transitioned into the role of blaster, customer representative, and technical sales representative where he serviced the Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York markets. His blasting experience includes Coal, Quarry, Construction and Underground operations. He is currently serving in the position of Senior Technical Engineer for Orica USA Inc. as the acting technical representative for the Midwest covering the states of Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee for the last 5 years. His position responsibilities are advanced blast design, product stewardship, product implementation, electronic blasting systems support, safety / quality control auditing.
