Kim Briggs is the procurement operations manager at the Federal Reserve Board (Board). Ms. Briggs has over twenty-nine years of procurement and acquisition management experience in the public and private sectors. She joined the Board in 2003 as a Senior Contract Specialist. As the Procurement Operations Manager, Ms. Briggs is responsible for the team of purchasing agents and contracts specialists that procure all of the goods and services the Board requires to carry out its mission and to sustain its operations. Prior to joining the Board, Ms. Briggs worked for Raytheon Technical Services Company as a Senior Subcontracts Administrator. At Raytheon, Ms. Briggs managed a $200 million subcontract portfolio for contracts under the Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration and NASA’s Consolidated Information Technology Services programs. Ms. Briggs holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Management with a specialization in Public Administration, Ashford University and a BD in Business Administration, University of Maryland University College. Additionally, she holds a Certified Purchasing Manager from the Institute for Supply Management.
