Arnold Sowa is senior vice president and Chief Procurement Officer for MetLife. He oversees MetLife’s global procurable spend, including the selection and contracting of suppliers, supplier oversight & governance, global travel, and supply chain social responsibility programs. He is on the board of directors as treasurer for the NMSDC. His prior procurement experiences have been at Bridgewater Associates, LP, where he built a new procurement organization; as an advisor to Ally Financial on creating their third-party risk management program; and as CPO at Capital One. While at Capital One he designed and rolled out an industry-leading third-party risk management program.
