Dr. Aamir Siddiqui is the Division Head of Plastic Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital, an 800 bed Level I tertiary care center in Detroit Michigan. He is board certified in Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery and is associate professor of Surgery at Wayne State School of Medicine. His clinical practice focuses on general plastic surgery, reconstruction, skin cancer and hand surgery. He is presently the chairman of the Quality Committee of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is involved in the teaching and training of plastic surgery residents, general surgery residents and medical students. He is the author of over 50 original research, review articles, chapters and invited communications. In addition to industry sponsored and non-sponsored research, he recently successfully completed a CMS Innovation grant. He is a co-editor and manuscript reviewer for many journals. He has participated in CMS technical panels, the development of clinical practice guidelines, quality performance measures and international care guidelines. He has worked with the PCPI for many years He has previously served on the board of the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel and consultant for the Smith and Nephew 2020 project.
