Sharon Glosson

North East ISD


Sharon Glosson is the Executive Director of School Nutrition for North East Independent School District in San Antonio, Texas, and has served in this role since 2012. She has served as a director in school foodservice since 2006. Sharon got her Bachelors degree in Nutrition and completed her dietetic internship at Texas Christian University and then obtained a Master’s degree in Nutrition from University of the Incarnate Word. Ms. Glosson is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian and a certified School Nutrition Specialist. She is currently serving as the President of the Texas Association for School Nutrition. She is an active member of several professional organizations and enjoys volunteering her time to promote the school nutrition profession. She has served on multiple committees at the local, state, and national level. Ms. Glosson enjoys mentoring students and serves as a preceptor for dietetic interns each year.
