Frank A. Sanders is vice president in the Technology and Manufacturing Group and director of corporate strategic procurement at Intel Corporation. He leads the organization responsible for sourcing strategic capabilities for Intel in categories such as IT, electronic design automation, sales and marketing, consulting, contingent workforce, third-party engineering services, intellectual property, logistics, transportation, and employee benefits and travel. Since joining Intel in 1992 as part of the company’s rotation engineering program, Sanders has held a variety of technical and business leadership roles. Before assuming his current position, he served as director of systems materials and outsource manufacturing. In that role, he was responsible for materials supply chain and commercial engagements for third-party manufacturing operations in support of Intel’s board and system platform businesses. Since 2013, he has also been responsible for Intel’s Supplier Diversity Program, which focuses on greater inclusion of diverse businesses within the company’s supply chain. Sanders holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a master’s degree in manufacturing systems engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. In 2012, Diversity MBA Magazine recognized him among its list of Top 100 Under 50 Diverse Emerging Leaders. In 2015, he led his organization to receive the Procurecon Excellence in Purchasing Indirect Categories Award.
