In his role at Kemin, Greaves coordinates a global team of plant breeders, horticulturalists, analytical chemists and research and field agronomists. He oversees the company’s global research, breeding and crop scale-up programs, using plants to produce key target molecules via conventional and marker-assisted plant breeding. Greaves previously served as chair of the Governor’s Life Science Advisory Committee for Iowa and is past chair of the Iowa State University Plant Sciences Institute external board of advisors. He is also an inventor on 12 US and international issued patents and six pending patents, and has presented at numerous conferences.
