Amber Michel is a CEO and co-founder of the tech startup company, Pingle, in Seattle, WA. Since 2015, Pingle has been developing a platform that connects mariners, training providers, and the companies that employ mariners in order to simplify credential management in the Maritime industry. The inspiration behind Pingle’s product is rooted in Amber’s experience of more than a decade working in the Maritime community. She graduated from Massachusetts Maritime Academy with several honors including the Massachusetts Port Authority Leadership Award and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation (Cum Laude). She also funds Native American filmmaking and is Executive Producer on two films in including, Ronnie Bodean (written/directed by Steven Paul Judd).
