Yannis Vrasidas

Vrasidas obtained his doctorate in medicinal and carbohydrate chemistry from Utrecht University and worked afterward as a postdoctoral researcher at the Pasteur Institute in Paris (development of carbohydrate-based vaccines) and as a research scientist at Glycom A/S in Copenhagen (synthesis of complex carbohydrates and human milk oligosaccharides). In 2013, he joined Eurofins Food Testing Netherlands as scientific support manager and carbohydrate specialist. Vrasidas is the author of several scientific papers and patents. He has on multiple occasions presented his work, topics of general (scientific) interest as well provided training at national or international conferences and meetings.
