Megan McDonald is the Director of International Trade Programs at NASDA, where she oversees NASDA’s cooperative agreement with the Foreign Agricultural Service of USDA. NASDA is a non-profit organization that represents the 50 state departments of agriculture and four US territories. McDonald joined NASDA staff in October 2006 to assist with the Foreign Agriculture Service (FAS) program, which includes organizing NASDA's American Food Fair pavilion at the National Restaurant Association’s trade show in Chicago and the USA Pavilion at the Americas Food & Beverage show in Miami. McDonald previously worked as the Director of Meetings and Events, Executive Assistant to the CEO for NASDA. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Agricultural Journalism in August 2005. While attending Texas A&M, Megan interned at NASDA; an opportunity made available through the Agriculture & Natural Resources Internship Program, which is only offered to students in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
