Mr. Taylor Abel is a professional engineer and currently the Senior Manager of EHS Process Optimization at Mosaic. Over his career, Mr. Abel has worked closely with the key stakeholders to build sustainable EHS programs and integrate them into the business to drive a safer work environment, ensure compliance, and change culture. Mr. Abel has worked with the same organization his entire career from the site level to corporate governance and has gained experience in all parts of Mosaic's business: leading EHS at its surface and underground mining operations to its global supply chain. He has over twenty years of environmental, health, safety, and security experience with over half of it in strategic senior leadership roles, from Senior Manager to Assistant Vice President. Mr. Abel led the development of Serious Accident and Fatality prevent at Mosaic. In 2015 he was the founding chairperson of the Saskatchewan Mining Associate Serious Accident and Fatality Elimination workgroup. Mr. Abel has dedicated his professional life to improving workplace safety and environmental stewardship.
