Timothy Burrell, M.D., M.B.A. is Medical Director for Health Care Excel (Indianapolis, IN). He has over twenty years of medical experience and has managed a variety of acute care medical services. More specifically, he has provided direct patient care, clinical staffing, risk management, facility and professional coding/billing services to medical practices and hospitals in Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois. Dr. Burrell received his Doctorate of Medicine from Indiana University School of Medicine. He also earned a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee. He completed an Emergency Medicine residency at the Michigan State University-affiliated program in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. Burrell is licensed in Indiana and Kentucky and is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. He holds academic appointments at both the University of Louisville School of Medicine and the Indiana University School of Medicine as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine.
