National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC)


Marquis Miller is responsible for the improvement of the efficiency and cost effectiveness of the NMSDC regional affiliates. His focus is on delivering the NMSDC mission - advancing business opportunities for certified Asian, Black, Hispanic and Native American businesses and connecting them to corporate members - through organizational management and strategic business development. Before coming to NMSDC, Marquis led the Business Mosaic, a boutique consulting firm focused on developing and quickly implementing revenue improvement and valuation plans and programs, for companies and organizations in three sectors: non-profit, consumer/retail, and business services. He also managed and directed staff as Vice President, Business Development at SBLI USA Mutual Life and led institutional advancement as Vice President at Chicago State University and Executive Director of the CSU Foundation. Previously Marquis served as Vice President, External Affairs at The Chicago Urban League, and as Regional Vice President at the United Negro College Fund.
