Ballard has been developing products for customers serving the aquatics, reptilian, avian, amphibian, canine, feline and equestrian markets for 27 years, building them from over 400 ingredients including fresh, frozen, dehydrated, non-GMO, natural and exotic materials. He collaborates with experts in food science, animal husbandry, chemistry, flavor and color scientists and academics to invent formulas to meet his customer’s unique product needs, including flake formulations, extrusions, baked goods, cold-formed products, veterinary and supplement products, nutraceutical products, treats and pet foods. Ballard received his bachelor’s degree in finance with minors in accounting and economics, and earned a law degree from Brigham Young University.
