Eric Schmidt is the Botanical Records Specialist and a Horticulturist at Leu Gardens. He maintains the accession database for the plant collection, keeps plants labeled, and helps oversee many of the collections and obtains new plants to be added to the collection at Leu Gardens. Eric has an Associates Degree in Environmental Horticulture from Valencia State of the College in Orlando, FL. Eric has lived in the Orlando area since 1979 and has been a part of the Leu Gardens staff for 24 years.
