Valerie Spicer is a founding part of Trilogy Group with more than 34 years of gaming business experience. Prior to Trilogy Valerie was Executive Director of the Arizona Indian Gaming Association (AIGA) where she worked extensively in the Tribal, private and public sectors of the growing industry. Before taking the lead at AIGA, Spicer was CEO of Gaming Strategies Group where she promoted business development with Tribal enterprises, governments and consulted Tribal and individually-owned businesses. She was also Vice President and General Manager at Borrego Springs Bank in San Diego, California, for 5 years for the Viejas Band of the Kumeyaay Nation. Spicer’s work has been recognized nationally over the last decade. Most recently, in 2013, Spicer was named by the Arizona Business Magazine as one of the “50 Most Influential Business Women” in Arizona. In 2011, Spicer was named a “Great Woman of Gaming”, Proven Leader, by Casino Enterprise Management Magazine. In 2004, one of the “Top 25 People to Watch” by Global Gaming Magazine.
