Executive Director
Jamul Tribal Gaming Commission

I am currently the Executive Director for the Jamul Tribal Gaming Commission located in San Diego, CA. My responsibilities include oversight of various regulatory departments including compliance, licensing, audit, and investigations. Prior to working for the Jamul Tribe, I spent almost three years with the Morongo Gaming Agency as the Director of Compliance and Investigations, and before that spent over 20 years with the Viejas Gaming Commission holding positions including surveillance director, chief of compliance, and also serving as interim commissioner in 2012. I have served as a board member Indian and First Nations Regional Director with the North American Gaming Regulators Association (NAGRA) since 2014 working with the broader regulatory community to educate and collaborate with other professionals in the field. I have also recently participated in various committees for the organization of National Tribal Gaming Commissioners/Regulators to help strengthen Tribal regulatory communities, and am on the board of the Tribal Gaming Protection Network (TGPN) under NIGA continuing the development of training and certification programs for this organization. One of my major goals is to work with fellow regulators to understand the evolving landscape of Indian gaming and continue working with other industry professionals to regulate and ensure the future integrity of the gaming industry as a whole.
