Mendal’s family has been in the pet industry for decades. He recently founded Pet Proteins LLC to help address the growing need for novel proteins in the pet food and treat industry. Mendal is an honors graduate from Harvard Business School. Prior to founding Pet Proteins, he served as a management consultant for Deloitte's strategy division, Monitor Deloitte, where he spent years presenting on growth strategy to clients, including many Fortune 500 company leaders.
