David Tillotson III, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is the Assistant Deputy Chief Management Officer. He previously served as the Acting Deputy Chief Management Officer, a position he held from May 27, 2014 to May 23, 2015.Prior to that, Mr. Tillotson was the Deputy Chief Management Officer, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force. As the Assistant Deputy Chief Management Officer, Mr. Tillotson reports to the Honorable Peter Levine, the newly appointed Deputy Chief Management Officer, to champion efforts to better synchronize, integrate, and optimize Department of Defense (DoD) business operations to improve effectiveness and increase efficiency across the Department’s enterprise. He also has the responsibility to lead and enable end-to-end integration and improvement of business operations in support of national security.
