A 1993 mechanical engineering graduate from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Va., Bob Ballard has 20 years of research and development experience in the field of fire protection. Bob began his career with Figgie Fire Protection Systems developing fire protection products used within industrial and commercial industries. In 2003, Bob joined Victaulic and began developing the special hazard fire suppression system Victaulic Vortex. Bob is a technical committee member for the NFPA 75 Standard for the Fire Protection of Information Technology Equipment.
