Dr. Phifer is Nationally Certified School Psychologist, who works in a large, diverse school system outside Washington, DC. She has spent a decade providing school based mental health services to students with significant trauma histories and educational disabilities. She is the primary author of the CBT Toolbox for Children and Adolescents and a parent companion workbook that is in press. She has published additional manuscripts, presented at national conferences, and has developed e-learning programs for educators to address the impact of trauma on students' social, emotional and educational growth.
