Bill Lentz is the Vice President of Water Parks for Palace Entertainment. He is responsible for the oversight of nine water parks, eight in the U.S. and one in Sydney, Australia. Bill spent his early career in retail at sports facilities, concerts, and tour merchandising. He started in the amusement business in 1989 in retail at Knott’s Berry Farm, CA. Bill was promoted several times at Knott’s, and in 1998 became the Director of Merchandise. In 2005 he was promoted to serve as the General Manager of Knott’s Soak City, Palm Springs, CA. Bill also served as the General Manager of California’s Great America in Santa Clara, CA, before moving to Palace in 2013. He graduated from California State University Fullerton with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Bill has been through the IAAPA Amusement Industry Institute Program, serves on the IAAPA Water Park Committee, and serves on the Advisory Board for Ellis & Associates.
