Dave Yates

Dave began his career in the PHVAC trades in 1972. After serving his apprenticeship and working up to the Master Plumber status, Dave struck out on his own in 1979. In 1985, he purchased F.W. Behler, Inc., a third generation PHVAC firm. An award winning company, Dave was the 1st recipient of the international Carlson-Holohan Industry Award for Excellence. He is a published author in numerous trade publications. Yates is also one of the most experienced teachers in the hydronics industry. Currently he is teaching an online radiant design course developed in partnership with RPA. He has also served as an adjunct professor at Thaddeus Stevens College, Lancaster, PA. Yates and his team recently completed one of the largest hydronic snow-melting jobs in PA at the York Hospital, which included a large helipad, ambulance bays, roadways, bridge, emergency room entranceway and sidewalks.
