With over 45 years of food retail and distribution career experience, Joe has led sales and marketing organizations of over $4.6 Billion in revenues with Supervalu’s Eastern Region. Team responsibilities included customer account management, sales and business development, marketing and development of professional services, as well as project management and succesful implementation. Joe is a passionate leader in the development of talent and succession in our industry. He and his team developed a sales asssociate program that focused on project work coupled with orientation to the business. The program developed many new business leaders, while enhancing gender and ethnic diversity within the business unit. Joe graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA with a B.S. degree in Food Marketing. Joe and his wife Victoria live in Franklin, TN. Joe serves on the Board of Regents with the NGA Foundation. He enjoys snow skiing, cycling (although the hills of TN are proving to be a new challenge) and focused on Family, Health, and Learning.
