Kamile Narine
Accounting Section Chief
FBI
Kamile Narine serves as the Chief Accounting Officer for the FBI, and has since his appointment in January 2009. Mr. Narine is directly responsible for the health of the Bureau’s financial statements, as well as all payables, receivables, and management of property. Prior to this position, he served as the FBI’s Deputy Procurement Officer, and Chief of the General Ledger Unit, as well as other management positions within the FBI’s Finance Division. Mr. Narine began his career with the FBI in the Miami Field Office where he was the Lead Auditor from September 1998 until December 2001. He also worked as an Accounting Supervisor at the United Parcel Service for eight years prior to joining the FBI, and taught Accounting at City College in Miami. Mr. Narine holds a Masters of Science in Management Information Systems, a Masters of Accounting, and a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. He was the recipient of the FBI Director’s Award in 2000 for his accounting efforts.
