Michael graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1982 with a bachelors degree in Marketing and Economics. After graduating from college, he worked in convenience store management and sales prior to accepting a Staff Associate position with NECA in 1988 where he worked out of the Syracuse, New York office. In November of 1989, he became the Executive Director of the West Virginia – Ohio Valley Chapter, NECA, which had nine IBEW local Unions/NECA Divisions, covering portions of Kentucky, Ohio & West Virginia. In June of 2001, he accepted a position as the Executive Director of the Monterey Bay California, Chapter NECA. The Chapter’s area included one IBEW Local Union/NECA Division covering Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties of California. Michael Bryant has been serving as a Field Representative for the Northern California Region of NECA’s Western Region since September of 2007. He works with eight NECA Chapters, eleven IBEW Local Unions and three IBEW I.O. Representatives focusing on labor relations, improving the competitive position of signatory contractors, facilitating the delivery of NECA services and promoting the use of industry best practices.
