As Residential President of KFG Investment Company, Mr, Baharlo focuses on identifying, underwriting and acquiring urban infill investment opportunities, sourcing the capital, and managing/building the investments through joint ventures with local builders and/or operators mainly in California and now moving into emerging markets in Colorado, Washington and other Western States. Mr. Baharlo has over 20 years of experience in identifying, underwriting, acquiring, sourcing, entitling, and constructing real estate assets and has successfully acquired, entitled, managed and disposed of over 3000 residential units, and generated over $1B in revenues including several master planned communities, urban infill opportunities, mixed-use multifamily projects and single family tract homes. He has held management positions with major companies including the Larwin Company and MDC Holdings-Richmond American Homes. Mr. Baharlo earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado, a Masters in Architecture from UC Berkeley and a Masters in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California. He served as a lecturer at the University of California at Berkeley and lectures regularly at the University of Southern California masters program in Real Estate. He served as President of the Los Angeles/Ventura Chapter and the Antelope Valley Chapter of the Building Industry Association in 2010 and 2013. He currently serves on the Housing Council of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Urban Land Institute. He is a licensed Architect and a licensed General Contractor in the State of California.
