Palmer Hickman is the Director of Safety and Code Training and Curriculum Development for the IBEW-NECA electrical training ALLIANCE. He represents the industry on the National Electrical Code (NEC) Correlating Committee, Code Panel 1 of the NEC®, and on the Technical Committees for NFPA 70E®, Recommended Practice for Electrical Equipment Maintenance, and NPFA 79®, Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery. In addition to his Codes and Standards responsibilities, he is a member of OSHA’s Advisory Committee on Construction and Health (ACCSH), the National Occupational Research Agenda (NORA) Construction Sector Council, the UL Electrical Council, and an OSHA Construction Industry Master Instructor.
