Marie Arcidiacono




Marie Arcidiacono is an Assistant Professor of Communication Studies and Co-Director of Forensics at Los Medanos College. She received her B.A. in Communica-tion with an emphasis in Interpersonal/Organizational Communication and his M.A. in Speech Communication from C.S.U, East Bay. A former competitive intercollegiate debater, Marie believes in the power of persuasion. Within the Communication discipline, Marie has a soft-spot for research involving Gender & Communication, Conflict & Communication, and of course, Public Speaking. An electrician’s daughter, she knows how to reset a tripped breaker and has been involved with the IBEW for as long as she can remember. Go Unions!
