Dr. Shorter has recently assumed the position as NECA’s Director of Research. He and his wife and youngest son will be moving to the national office in Bethesda, Maryland. They have three older sons who are all located in Louisiana. Formerly Joey served as the Director of Workforce Development. He has an undergraduate degree in Pre-Law, a Master’s degree, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree. With over thirty years of teaching, coaching and administrative experience, he enjoys every opportunity to return to the podium and classroom.
