Erin Alley is a Senior Associate and Retail Practice Area Leader for Gensler. She has 20 years of experience developing brands and bringing them to life in the built environment. Alley has led cross-functional teams and projects in architecture, construction management, interior design and marketing, which she has exercised for both specialty retailers and architecture firms. She has worked for and closely with many significant brands, such as Gap, Old Navy, PacSun, Soul Cycle, Bare Minerals and AAA. Alley has a Master of Architecture from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from U.C. Berkeley. She currently sits on the Board of the Northern California chapter of the Retail Design Institute. With a retailer’s perspective and an architect’s education, Alley understands the client’s needs with an eye toward budget and schedule constraints, without sacrificing design integrity.
