Joseph Rock




Joseph started in the fire service in 1999 as a member of the Chesapeake Fire Department. Rock graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor's Degree in physical education and a minor in management. In 2002, Joseph was hired by the Virginia Beach Fire Department where he currently serves as a captain assigned to Ladder 7 which is part of the department's and region's technical rescue team. Joseph serves as a FEMA rescue specialist with Virginia Task Force 2; field training instructor for the VBFD; adjunct instructor for the VBFD fire academy and is a member of the VBFD operational planning.
