Mark Hervat is currently the Manager of Theatrical Design for Disney Live Entertainment. He leads a team of Art Directors, Scenic Designers, Graphic Designers, Concept Artists/Illustrators, Lighting Designers, Audio System Designers, Video System Designers and CAD/Pre-Vis Designers at Walt Disney World Resort. Prior to his current role, Mark worked as a freelance Scenic Designer and Art Director for 15 years with various themed entertainment clients such as Universal Studios Hollywood, Busch Gardens Tampa, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Buena Vista Special Events, Walt Disney Imagineering and Disney Entertainment Productions. While living in the Los Angeles area, Mark began his creative career working at various scenery shops and production companies as a carpenter, scenic painter, model builder, mold maker, sculptor and set dresser. Mark lives in Winter Garden, FL with his wife and two children.
