Johnson has more than 30 years of experience leading Indiana nonprofit organizations and managing organizational change and growth. She joined Rock Steady Boxing when the Indianapolis location was the only one in the country and is now Executive Director. She has been instrumental in developing the network around the world. With personal experience with Parkinson’s, Johnson’s vision is that one day Rock Steady Boxing will be available in every community throughout the world, offering hope and a way to “fight back” to the more than 5 million people suffering with Parkinson’s disease.
