Kelly Barr
7th grade math teacher
Gilmer County High School
Kelly Barr is a 7th grade teacher at Gilmer County High School in Glenville, WV; she has been teaching for 17 years and has a Master's degree in Secondary Education from Marshall University. She has presented at NCTM Annual Meetings, TCEA, FETC, and numerous other local and regional conferences. She teaches in a blended learning environment focusing on STEAM and STEM Education through her mathematics content. Kelly also teaches computer science to 7th and 8th graders using robotics, 3D printing, Code.org, and numerous other platforms to expose her students to the many facets of computer science. Kelly and her husband Jason live in Glenville, WV with their two children.
