Ms. Boozer has several years of experience promoting innovation, invention education and technology transfer. She coordinates intellectual property education and outreach programs with external non-profit organizations and academic institutions. Ms. Boozer conducts invention education seminars for STEM administrators and educators in conformance with the policies, mission and goals of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Prior to joining the USPTO, Ms. Boozer was the Director of Technology Transfer at Florida A&M University and taught an Intellectual Property Course for scientists and engineers. She gained innovation and patent prosecution experience while working for Procter & Gamble, Insmed Biopharmaceutical Company, the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the USPTO as a chemical patent examiner.
